The Putting Green is a collecting quest that starts May 17th, 2016 and lasts until June 7th, 2016. Walter has taken up golf, and Percy is trying to collect any wayward balls. He offers you prizes if you find any on your farm.
Building[]
The player must first place the unbuilt green, which is free. They are then taken to the build screen. The materials are:
- 3 - 10 Golf Ball Pails (Post)
- 3 - 10 Golf Flags (Ask)
- 3 - 10 Grass Squares (Ask)
Amount of materials may vary. The materials can be bought for 2 
Farm Bucks each. Alternatively, players can buy the building fully-built for 17 - 54 .
After all materials are gathered, at least 2 Neighbors are needed to complete the building. Once it is finished, players will be able to access the quest's main menu in order to view the amount of Golf Balls collected, craft Golf Balls, and redeem Golf Balls for prizes. Golf Balls can be collected before the building is finished, but the green needs to be complete in order to use them.
The Quest[]
Golf Balls are found while harvesting crops, and they will generate from both land and water fields and plots. It is not necessary to fertilize the crops, but Golf Balls will have a higher chance of appearing if the crops are fertilized. Players can collect Golf Balls from their own farm only; it will not generate if they harvest crops on a neighbor's farm.
In addition, players can also craft Golf Balls using recipes in the Workshop:
- Five Golf Balls: 6
Horseshoes + 2 Wooden Clasp (Ask from Neighbors or Buy for 1 )) - Seven Golf Balls: 6 Rubber + 3 Nylon Cords (Post or Buy for 1 ))
- Heirloom Seven Golf Balls: 6 Heirloom Rubber + 3 Nylon Cords (Post or Buy for 1 ))
There are four different prizes that players can redeem from the feeder:
- Pair of Golf Chairs - 50 Golf Balls (Buy for 23 )
- Goodie Pack - (3 Water, 3 Speed-Grow, 3 Fertilizer) 100 Golf Balls (Buy for 41 )
- Resource Pack (3 Fertilizer, 3 Speed-Grow, 3 Fuel) - 150 Golf Balls (Buy for 72 )
- Floral Pond - 200 Golf Balls (Buy for 90 )
NOTE: The amount of Golf Balls required to redeem a prize may vary among players.
After obtaining all four prizes, the player will be rewarded with the grand prize, a baby Wilson White Chinchilla and 10 
Favors.
