Borage is a limited crop in FarmVille 2 and is only available until March 14, 2016. The seeds can be bought in the General Store for 42 Coins after the player has reached Level 7.
After watering the plot with 1 Water the Borage grows for 6 hours and is ready for harvesting after that. Each harvested Borage can be sold for 59 Coins, used for Recipes such as 
Borage Orange Cake, 
Heirloom Borage Orange Cake and 
Candied Borage or crushed in the Feed Mill to make 6 Feed for the Animals.
