Black Magic Taro is a limited crop in FarmVille 2 and is only available until December 19th, 2016. The seeds can be bought in the General Store for 46 Coins after the player has reached Level 15.
The Black Magic Taro grows for 6 hours and is ready for harvesting after that. Each harvested Black Magic Taro can be sold for 90 Coins, used for Recipes such as 
Black Magic Taro Glazed Donut and 
Black Magic Taro Pancakes or crushed in the Feed Mill to make 7 Feed for the Animals.
