Alkanet is a crop in FarmVille 2 and is only available until April 23rd, 2018. The seeds can be bought in the General Store for 48 Coins after the player has reached Level 7.
After watering the plot with 1 Water the Alkanet grows for 10 hours and is ready for harvesting after that. Each harvested Alkanet can be sold for 68 Coins, used for Recipes such as 
Alkanet Dye and 
Alkanet Lipstick or crushed in the Feed Mill to make 8 Feed for the Animals.
